Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our building is really working on positive relationships and belonging. It is so important to make sure we all feel like we have a place at school, in the classroom, on the playground, in the cafeteria, with our custodial staff, and in the office area with our secretaries, principals, nurses, and counselors. Spreading kindness is contagious. We can give out 50-75 snacks each day.

Please help us get us a variety of incentives for our prize drawer inclusive of candy, snacks, stickers and lanyards for our kids in our learning center where students come to get support in reading and math.

All items can be used as motivators for but also time-on-task behaviors as well as provide sensory stimulation allowing for focus and changes in thoughts as they are working through their social-emotional learning. The stickers are also used as a motivator to work hard during class and work completion.

Celebrating is what we do. It is a way to continue to grow and serve the needs of our children. Thank you for making this happen for our kids. Building kindness within our building also builds our community with citizens who continue to teach and model kindness.
