Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Attendance is a huge issue at my school. We are always looking for creative ways to incentivize students to come. We started an all school wide raffle. We award attendance on a weekly basis by giving students a special reward ticket. The ticket goes into our barrel drawing at the end of the month. Students are very excited to be part of the drawing.

The prizes that we select are geared toward learning and/or social emotional support.

Students want to be here but sometimes we need to give them that extra push to get here.
