My Project

We have an amazing classroom with students with special needs. Recently, our self-contained class had to move locations within the school. We do have a sensory room on campus, but students must walk to access the room. Creating an in-class sensory regulation area will allow students to stay in class more, which in turn will help them access more curriculum.

Students with disabilities love having sensory input!

These items will allow for self-regulation strategies to be used within the classroom environment.
