Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We always try to meet the needs of our students. Many of the activities provided on our campus cater to supporting our scholars social-emotional needs as well as their academic needs. Through creativity, hands-on experiences, and SEL based lessons, we thrive to teach and reach the entire population.

I am hoping to give students an opportunity to use a new piece of technology that could inspire them to branch out and think about ways they could use that technology in the future as well as ways to express themselves and let their imaginations run wild.

Introducing this new device will allow my students to be able to start applying their creativity to different projects and lessons, which will be completely student-led activities, allowing them to be independently successful. Having a Cricut Maker 3, in conjunction with a sublimation printer previously funded and with a variety of tools and accessories, can bring their projects to life and begin their career readiness that will follow them outside the classroom.
