I work with 26 fabulous 5th grade students each day! My students work hard daily to learn and grow in a variety of ways. They love to read, tell stories, laugh, create, and enjoy science experiments and labs.

This is something we talk about in my classroom. There are many different ways to accomplish this goal. The first step is by being or becoming a lifelong learner. This is something I work hard to instill in students.
I want to create an environment where students feel they can take risks, try new things, and not be afraid to be wrong. As Elbert Hubbard said, "There is no failure except in no longer trying." We choose to keep trying!
My Project
The materials requested in my project will help extend my students learning and review materials. The materials requested are items that can help keep them learning, even when they finish work early.
I am finished, so now what?
Is a question I hear on a regular basis. I am constantly making copies of early finisher games and activities. The requested materials would cut down on the copies and preparation needed to extend student learning on a regular basis. These materials would give a variety of activities in multiple subject areas for students to use all year long. I also requested some storage bin to store and organize the requested materials.
