With the new magnetic tiles and mats, students can build coding paths, experiment with color codes, complete challenges, and work together to find solutions. The magnetic surfaces make it easy for students to create, change, and redesign their paths as they learn.\r\n\r\nStudents across K–8 are able to use these materials in developmentally appropriate ways. Our younger students can explore sequencing, patterns, directions, and beginning coding concepts, while older students can tackle more complex challenges that require planning, troubleshooting, collaboration, and computational thinking.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite things about using Ozobots is watching students become completely engaged in the learning process. They don't simply receive directions and complete a worksheet—they test an idea, watch what happens, discover something didn't work, and try again. That process of experimenting and troubleshooting is an important part of becoming a confident problem-solver.\r\n\r\nThese materials also allow me to connect technology skills with literacy and other areas of learning. Students can use Ozobots to complete story-based challenges, navigate themed mats, and create coding activities connected to books and classroom topics.
