My Project

In our vibrant 3D art studio, students are constantly exploring their creativity through various mediums, from clay sculptures to mixed media projects and stained glass. However, one essential tool we currently lack is a photography light box, which would significantly enhance our ability to showcase and document their incredible work.

A photography light box provides even lighting and a neutral backdrop, allowing students to capture high-quality images of their projects.

This is particularly important for our art showcases, portfolio development, and even online image sharing. By having a dedicated space to photograph their creations, students will learn valuable skills in presentation and marketing, preparing them for future endeavors in the art world.

Also included in this project is a variety of display options including jewelry display pieces and stands for photographing and displaying flat stained glass work. These items will be used to photograph artwork, as well as display finished pieces at our district art show that occurs twice a year.

Project Objectives:

1. Enhance Documentation: Improve the quality of student project documentation for portfolios and exhibitions.

2. Encourage Reflection: Help students critically evaluate their work through photography.

3. Develop Marketing Skills: Teach students how to present their artwork in a professional manner.
