"Teachers who love teaching, teach children who love learning." As I enter my twentieth year of teaching, I continue to follow this mantra in my classroom. I teach twenty-eight, wonderful students who come from poverty. My students are from varying ethnic backgrounds. Most of them come from homes that are struggling financially.
My students are extremely motivated and they are genuinely respectful of each other.
They are lovers of learning and I am truly grateful to be their teacher this year. They come to school with smiles on their faces and they are eager to learn. We need new books to use in our literacy centers.
Winters are cold in Chicago. My students needs fun and engaging books such as the I Spy books and new puzzles to enjoy during indoor recess.
These books and puzzles will provide endless hours of fun for my students to enjoy with a friend or on their own.
The I SPY riddle books would be a fantastic addition to our classroom library. Each book contains a riddle on each page and has the reader hunting for certain objects. The pictures are bright and colorful. My students also could use new puzzles to do during indoor recess. When the puzzle is complete, the students can I Spy pictures they see in the puzzles with their friends. My students would have so much fun searching and solving the riddles.
