I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Math Games!
My students need these Lakeshore Learning Math games, manipulatives, and study tools to help them be successful learning the 3rd Grade Common Core Standards.
I teach at a diverse school; students are diverse both culturally and economically. A large portion of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. At my school, parents take an active role in learning. Our PTA is the best, and try to help in any way they can!
My students are awesome 3rd graders who can't wait to learn each day.
They learn best through "hands on learning" and enjoy playing games, using manipulatives, and doing anything that is engaging and fun.
Given the differences between my students, I am challenged each day to make sure that everyone is learning. I am constantly differentiating assignments for my students; so that each child is challenged appropriately. Having some new Math games/manipulatives will help me do this and let the kids have some fun!
My Project
These materials from Lakeshore Learning will help my students with concepts learned throughout the year and help build proficiency with multiplication and division facts. The Multiplication/Division Machines and Towers of Math will help practice their facts, the Performance Task Cards & Show What You Know will help practice problem solving skills, and the various games/dice will help make practicing concepts fun.
These engaging items will make Math fun and allow my students to have hands-on learning each day in Math Centers.
These items will reinforce what I've taught each day and make learning exciting!
With these Lakeshore Learning games/materials, I plan to use them in a variety of ways. Students can independently practice concepts, I can use them in center groups, or I will use them to support both small/whole group teaching.
