I have a group of wonderful third graders who are eager to learn. They have a wide range of abilities as well. Some are working on fluency and decoding words. Others are working on comprehension. Some are working on how to choose a "just right" book. Others have found a topic they are interested in but the school and public library only carry a small number of books on that topic. A NOOK eReader would help all of my students by meeting their individual needs in reading. My students get very interested in things having to do with technology and I am sure that having a NOOK eReader would keep them interested. You can never have too much fun learning!
