I Got An Award! Here's My Shirt To Prove It

Help me give my students a cricut for personalized birthday, student of the month and awards shirts. Supplies to continue group work. Markers for individual whiteboards, work on fact fluency, grammar corrections, personal erasers to stop using tissue.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have developed into such outgoing students in such a short amount of time. My classroom is focused around growth mindset and through that students are expected to turn negative phrases into positive ones. I am so proud of all my students for improving in their self acceptance, self esteem, and belief in themselves. I am even more proud of my students who started off not wanting to be at school and now love to be here.

One of my students has made such a drastic change in his behavior and attitude towards school.

At first this student didn't want to finish a single assignment, didn't believe in himself and constantly wanted to walk out of classrooms. Through the use of growth mindset, talks, and one on one support he has become so proud of himself. He and the rest of my students push themselves to be better everyday. I am beyond thankful to be their 3rd grade teacher.

My Project

All of the items will benefit my students in an educational and social emotional way. The cricut will allow my students to own a shirt for birthdays, awards, personal accomplishments as well as show pharaoh pride. Owning something that shows your accomplishment improves self esteem, and pride to keep improving in school and other areas. My students are part of a growth mindset environment and receiving a gift like this will be a huge reward reminding them of their success.

The multiplication, division, addition and subtraction workbooks will allow my students to have extra support in the classroom and at home to fulfill the 3rd grade math standards.

Grammar will improve their writing and understanding of the English language. The white board markers and personal erasers will allow my students to practice fact fluency, create graphic organizers during their writing activities and allow them to stop using tissues to erase their whiteboards.

The rest of the material is an aide in finishing projects students are given throughout the school year. I have also added bags for physical education sports balls. I was able to provide sports equipment for them to use at recess and PE, but I wasn't able to get the bags. These are beneficial for my students to carry all equipment outside.
