Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work closely with the Health Office and Parent Resource room. We are in need of an oral thermometer. On an average day, the health office takes a temperature fifty times. We currently use tympanic or ear thermometers, but they are not high quality and have a short life span.

Healthy kids stay at school.

In order to provide timely and accurate information for the betterment of the families and students here at school, we would like to have an accurate, dependable device designed for heavy use. In addition to the thermometer, we will need probe covers for each use. These ensure the device remains sanitary and suitable for use. A package of 1000 probe covers should last an entire school year, ensuring accurate temperature readings, particularly during the cold and flu season that is upon us.
