My Project

This project is going to impact my students by giving them a safe space to learn and create friendships. This summer, my classroom is undergoing construction and everything must be taken down. I am using this as an opportunity to refresh my decor and bright up our space.

The classroom is a second home to my students, and I want to create a welcoming environment where they feel safe.

The items in this project are filled with decor that have positive affirmations. This is a new theme from Schoolgirl Style called Shimmer Pop. It combines my love of color and Taylor Swift. So many of my students have become Swifties this year, and I will have many of them again this year.

One of my favorite things about back-to-school time is decorating my classroom and then seeing the students' reactions. They are always so excited to see what their classroom will look like. I can't wait to start decorating!
