Research has shown that flexible seating can help improve the amount of time a student is able to spend on a task and it improves their learning. Having a wide variety of flexible seating will allow the students to choose what best works for them. My students already love to sit around the room but right now all we have are their desk chairs and the floor. I discussed with them about flexible seating and they became ecstatic about the opportunity to have the resources available to them. Having flexible seating in my classroom will help motivate my students and increase their learning. My students need the opportunity to move. Flexible seating will allow them to move around without it disrupting instructional time. Some of the resources will even allow them to have better focus while remaining in their seats. I can't wait to help my students become more successful by providing seating options that will help them focus!
