Having access to headphones allows students to fully participate in these opportunities without being distracted by the sounds coming from other students' learning activities.\r\n\r\nHaving a classroom set of headphones also helps create a more focused and productive learning environment. Students can listen to directions, videos, read-alouds, and individualized instruction while their classmates work on different activities. This is especially important when students are working independently or practicing skills that are different from those of their peers.
