My Project

My middle school students are just starting their journeys through puberty.

Being so new at having their periods and their periods being unpredictable, there are many kids who have period accidents at school and/or who find themselves in need of emergency suppplies.

We also have kids who don't have access to supplies due to the financial burden of hygiene supply costs.

As a health teacher at the middle school, I try my best to keep a cabinet open with available supplies for all the students who may need them. Dignity is an important thing in middle school and having a supply closet is a must for the kids who are caught off guard.
