My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment they learn best vary greatly.
We incorporate various learning strategies, group work, alternative seating, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met right where they are. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of excited and ready-to-learn students each year.
Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of a lack of supplies and resources. I really want to allow my students to work more on computers, especially in an age where science and technology are a driving factor for student engagement and something that students really need to learn to navigate.
My Project
My students are such hard-working kids. They are always showing me how they put their families before themselves. This year has been extremely challenging for many students and families. I would like to be able to put together some basic needs packages for hygienic care. I am requesting material, such as shampoo and conditioner, hair bands, and a backpack to transport items, that will allow my students to clean their bodies and souls and give them a moment to pamper themselves. Hygiene is important for students' mental and social health as well as motivates them to be the best version of themselves. Please help me send some much-needed products home to the students.
