Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this project, I am asking for self-care items in the hygiene department for my groups of sixth graders. I have included feminine items such as pads and tampons, wipes, bandaids and personal items that my students often lack.

At this age, students are still learning about basic hygiene and these items will allow them to feel fresh during the day.

Many of my female students ask for feminine items during that time of the month, which I am more than happy to provide when they need it. I want the girls to feel comfortable in the school setting during that time of the month.

Other items in the project such as hair product, mouth wash, slippers and lip balms are items I would like to provide to some of my students to offer some basic needs items.
