Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are learning to communicate and identify information about themselves... this includes their emotions! As adults, we take for granted how simple it can be to identify and express our emotions. However, for 6 year olds, it is a skill they must learn and practice.

Our class has been learning about identifying and communicating their emotions and would benefit from the requested additional resources.

The materials for this this project would help provide auditory and visual cues beneficial to early childhood students. Such materials can also prompt discussions in the classroom! We are in need of a bean bag and a few sensory toys.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
