This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, smart, and talented. These books would help expand their literary exposure. Granting them better access to books that interest them. Our students deserve a library that is as dynamic, diverse, and brilliant as they are.

They come to school every day ready to learn, but are often met with a book collection that is worn out, culturally outdated, and unable to reflect their rich personal worlds.

Investing in these books is an investment in measurable academic results across our class. I would love to watch their love for reading expand, along with our class library.
