Your contribution has provided my students with more than just reading material; you have provided them with new worlds to explore and the tools to sharpen their literacy skills.\r\nThe impact of your gift was immediate. The kids were incredibly excited as we unpacked the boxes, and I am happy to report that these books are being used all the time. Whether it is during independent reading blocks, research projects, or even a few quiet moments before recess, there is rarely a moment when a student doesn't have one of your donated titles in their hands.\r\nIt is heartwarming to see the kids so engaged and eager to share what they are reading with one another. Your kindness has fostered a renewed energy in our classroom that will undoubtedly benefit these students for years to come.\r\nThank you again for your investment in our classroom and for supporting our young readers.\r\nWarmly,","fullyFundedDate":1760120499985,"projectUrl":"project/hooked-on-books/9797496/","projectTitle":"Hooked on Books","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gross","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10303887"},{"teacherId":10261801,"projectId":9714951,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for making this project possible. Because of your generosity, my students now have access to tools and materials that are transforming how they experience science every single day.\r\n\r\nThe Snap Circuits have been especially powerful for learning. While many of our students are familiar with technology at home, these kits allow them to go beyond simply using devices—they get to build and understand how technology works. Students are creating real circuits, testing ideas, troubleshooting problems, and seeing immediate results. This hands-on exploration has strengthened their critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in tackling complex concepts.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in the room when we opened the boxes was unforgettable. The Snap Circuits quickly became a class favorite, with students eagerly collaborating, experimenting, and even teaching one another. The headphones have made a huge difference as well, allowing students to focus during digital lessons and research without distractions. And the new books have already become well-loved additions to our science library, sparking curiosity and encouraging independent exploration. Even the Play-Doh is playing an important role, helping students model ideas and creatively demonstrate their understanding during future lessons.\r\n\r\nSome students who were previously hesitant in science have truly come alive with these materials. Hands-on learners, in particular, have thrived! They light up when they realize they can successfully build a working circuit or explain how it functions. I've seen students take pride in their learning, collaborate more confidently with peers, and approach challenges with a \"let's try it\" mindset.\r\n\r\nYour support has created meaningful, lasting learning experiences for my students, and I am incredibly grateful. I didn't have to tell them twice how special this was that so many people, some of whom we don't even know, made sure we got these materials for them to use. At our Title I school, kids don't often get to see people having the means to give so much and so freely to others. This changed how they see the world.\r\n\r\nWe are preparing for our Winter Arts Night next week, and the kids have had so much fun learning to play our mallet instruments.
