My Students

I teach English to an amazing group of students from a variety of different backgrounds, and abilities. In this class, we are a family. We learn from each other, grow with each other, and strive to be better people every day.

We use books to learn about our communities and tie them to things we can relate to through service projects.

I guide them through learning by fostering a love of reading, and teaching them a sense of belonging.

My Project

Several of my students are in need of highlighters and binders, I've had several ask me for them and I do not currently have any. Also included in this project is items for our holiday celebration. Every year I let the kids make thank you cards we tie to candy canes and pass out to staff. I also allow them to make things like reindeer food, reindeer noses and other holiday crafts. It's always a lot of fun, and they really look forward to it. Thank you so much for supporting my students!
