Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use the items requested as a way to calm the students so they can focus on the task at hand. My classroom consists of students ages five to eleven, focusing on reading. There are times the students just need to touch or feel something as a way to soothe or subdue their energy and center their attention on learning. I have found these little plastic or rubber objects do the trick and my students are successful! My students are special to me because they work so hard!
