My Students

Despite the challenges that "distance" learning sometimes presents to my 8th graders, they persevere and continually strive to better themselves. I teach US History where I have them think like a historian by analyzing and developing their own evidence based conclusions. I'm always amazed by what they are able to do!

My Project

I have students in my room and students learning remotely. When I share my screen with students at home and in school, I need sound for both students when I share my Team meetings and history videos.

Without speakers I have to rely on the speakers on my laptop which are not loud enough for my students.

Teaching History to 8th graders I have found that using videos not only enriches my lessons but keeps the students engaged in the lesson. This ultimately increases their content knowledge of what I am teaching them.
