High Interest Novels

Help me give my students box sets of high-interest novels to engage them in reading fluency and comprehension!

My Project

In my classroom, we engage in sustained silent reading where students are allowed to choose books from the class library to read and enjoy. Many if my students enjoy reading manga, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and even the Babysitter's club graphic novels. I have bought some box sets of these books, and the box sets are routinely empty as students are checking them out and asking when I will get the next one in the set.

I want my students to enjoy reading and watching them make comments about what's happening while they are reading or gasping in shock is priceless.

They are understanding what is happening and boosting their abilities as young readers. In order to keep them engaged, I need more material which is where you can help. Please help me get the novels my students are interested in, and help them continue their journeys as young readers.
