High-Flying STEM: Navigating the Drone Zone

Help me give my students in Drone Technology access to a drone and hoops that will help when they learn to fly them.

My Project

My students are natural innovators, problem-solvers, and tech-enthusiasts. Every day, they come to class eager to figure out how the world works and how they can shape it. They don't just want to read about technology in a textbook—they want to get their hands on it, experiment, fail forward, and succeed. They are incredibly resilient and thrive when given the freedom to create and explore.

We are launching a Drone Technology Course at our Title I school, but to truly master the concepts, we need the right gear.

The two drones requested in this project will give my students direct, hands-on flight experience. They will learn the physics of flight, spatial awareness, and the fundamentals of coding and piloting.

The obstacle hoops are where the real critical thinking happens. Instead of just flying in an empty room, students will use the hoops to design complex obstacle courses. This forces them to calculate trajectories, problem-solve tight angles, and collaborate in teams as pilots and navigators.

By supporting this project, you aren't just buying toys; you are investing in the next generation of engineers, data analysts, and commercial pilots. These tools will turn abstract STEM concepts into an exciting, unforgettable reality.
