We are in the business of supporting students. As teachers, we work tirelessly to help our students grow mind, body, and soul. We are experts in this area and do it well. What we fail to recognize is that we need to support each other, that teachers can't pour from an empty cup.
In order for students to get all they need from their teachers, those teachers must be supported and cared for as well - Teachers need champions, too!
This project includes items intended to support and lift up the teachers of my school building. There are notes of encouragement, motivational stickers, and sweet treats that can be given to teachers as a token of appreciation and a show of support. Telling teachers what they do well gives them the renewed energy to pour further into their students. The wellness of our school staff directly relates to the wellness of our students. There is a distinct trickle down effect when we support our teachers and ensure that they are appreciated, supported, seen, and heard. This project includes items to do just that, as well as organizational and storage supplies for this endeavor.
