Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A laptop for our classroom would allow students to participate in digital wellness check ins, watch short skill building videos, complete guided reflection activities, and engage in collaborative SEL exercises.

Because the device will be used in small group settings, it will support multiple students throughout the day as they build confidence, emotional awareness and communication skills.

Social emotional learning is just as important as academic learning. When students feel heard, supported, and equipped to manage their emotions, they are better able to focus, participate, and succeed in school. Your support in providing a laptop and SEL activities will help create a consistent, supportive space where students can develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.Thank you for helping our students start each day with connection, reflection and growth.
