My Project

Our classroom serves students with diverse learning and behavioral needs who benefit from a supportive, flexible, and calming environment. Many of our students require additional sensory and social-emotional support throughout the school day to remain engaged, focused, and successful in the classroom.

This project will provide giant pillows, flexible seating options, and social-emotional tools to help create a safe and comfortable learning space where students can regulate emotions, build coping skills, and participate more successfully in daily activities.

These resources will support students by promoting comfort, reducing stress, encouraging positive behavior, and increasing classroom engagement.

By providing alternative seating and calming supports, we can better meet the individual needs of our students and help them feel confident, included, and ready to learn each day.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
