Helping Our Young Performers Stay Healthy, Safe, and Stage Ready

Help me give my students essential first aid, hygiene, and costume care supplies to keep young theater students safe, healthy, confident, and rehearsal-ready.

My Project

The magic of theater begins long before the curtain rises. Every rehearsal is filled with movement, creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building as our students learn to tell stories on stage. To keep that magic alive, we also need to ensure our students have access to basic health and safety supplies so they can rehearse comfortably and confidently.

Our students spend hours singing, dancing, acting, building sets, and changing costumes; along the way, minor cuts, scrapes, blisters, and bumps are simply part of an active theater program.

This project will provide first aid essentials including skin-tone bandages, alcohol pads, and instant ice packs that can quickly address small injuries while keeping rehearsals running smoothly.

In addition, many of our students rely on school for access to personal hygiene products. Having age-appropriate menstrual products available ensures that no student has to miss rehearsal or feel embarrassed because they are unprepared. These supplies help create an inclusive environment where every child can focus on learning, performing, and building confidence instead of worrying about necessities.

Theater costumes are worn by many different students throughout a production. Baby wipes and fabric refresher help us clean costume pieces between uses, keeping them fresh and more comfortable for every performer. Maintaining clean costumes also extends their lifespan, allowing our program to serve future casts while making students feel proud to wear them.

Your generosity will provide much more than first aid and hygiene supplies. It will create a safe, welcoming rehearsal space where students know they are cared for. When young performers feel secure, supported, and confident, they are free to take creative risks, collaborate with their peers, and experience the joy of bringing stories to life on stage.
