Help! We Need to Go Wireless!

My students need sturdy, wireless headphones to use during the school day. Our headphones have wires and we spend a large part of the afternoon digging the broken off plug pieces out of the iPad jack.

My Students

My students are amazing. I love seeing the world through their eyes. They are inquisitive, creative, and funny! You never know what they will say or do. They love technology! They love each other and support each other any way they can. Whether it is letting a friend have a crayon, comforting them when they are sad, or praising them when they accomplish something.

My class is very diverse, yet they encourage each other and love to see each other succeed!

They work together very well and enjoy working on projects with their friends. Being a STEM school, they have daily opportunities to work together and create things. They love coding (yes, kindergartners can code!), learning to read, and recess! They inspire me to experience life like they do. Enjoying the little things and seeing the best in people. This anonymous quote describes them perfectly: "Kindergarten...because our days here are filled with love and laughter this will always be a magical place."

My Project

My kindergartners need sturdy, wireless headphones to use with our iPads during the school day. Our headphones have wires and we spend a lot of time untangling them and digging the broken plugs out of the iPad jack.

These wireless headphones would allow my students uninterrupted learning time.

We work on listening skills in Kindergarten by listening to books, following directions, and listening to our favorite learning apps. Our current headphones are either too large for their heads and slip off or do not fit their ears. My students cannot focus on what they are supposed to be listening to or learning. My students deserve the best tools that are available to help them learn. I am excited for my students to use these headphones in our classroom.
