Help Us Replenish Our Basic Classroom Supplies!

My students need file folders, index cards, pencils, and markers to replace items we have used up throughout the year!

My Students

At some point in the year, the teacher notices that students have lost, broken, or used up some of the necessary supplies in the classroom. We have run out of markers, our pencil supply is dwindling, and we need more note cards and folders for fun lessons and to organize student work.

I currently teach several awesome groups of freshmen, who need all the help they can get with organizing homework and keeping supplies in working condition.

These incredible scholars are quirky, loving, independent, energetic teenagers who want their educational experience to expand their knowledge and push their boundaries. This, however, is hard to do without basic classroom supplies. Unfortunately, at this time, there are no funds available from my school to purchase important basic supplies like folders, markers, note cards, and pencils. Without these basic supplies, it is hard to teach engaging lessons that grab them by their creative little brains and hold them there tight. My students want so very strongly to learn, and I am trying my best to provide them with materials so they get the best out of their school year! They deserve the best, and I intend to give them the best.

My Project

Pencils, folders, markers and note cards. That list sounds simple enough, right? What looks like a stack of note cards to you can become fancy, decorated name cards for the characters in Romeo and Juliet (which we are scheduled to begin reading next semester!). What seems like a boring box of hanging folders to you is actually a chance for my students to get better grades because they will not lose their reading materials, worksheets, notebooks, and folders. Markers ensure that students can splash some color into all their assignments. Lastly, pencils are always a hot commodity. Students come to me from all over the school to borrow pencils, some that I do not even know! Thanks for helping us replenish our classroom supplies!

With generous donations from loving friends, family, and strangers, my learners will be able to have access to supplies for everyday class discussions, presentations and written tasks.

With these materials, I can provide my scholars with more engaging lessons that require them to show me in new, creative ways that they have what it takes to succeed in my class and in life. Thank you so much; your generosity is incredibly touching!
