This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The children in my school are from a low socioeconomic area, with 100% of students receiving free lunch. We are located in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. My students are absolutely amazing and deserve to experience everything the world has to offer!

My Project

These headphones will be used during our intervention period to help my students be able to focus entirely on their computer program that is designed to help supplement in areas that they are struggling in, in both reading and math! My students currently stuggle with focusing on their assignments due to the fact we have so many students listening to their directions and assignments out loud at once. These headphones would really help them get in the zone, and be able to devote all of their attention to their supplemental instruction.
