My Project

I work as a speech therapist for students with disabilities in a public school, that serves low income families. Many of the students live in shelters and apartments and lack access to green spaces. With a hydroponic garden, my students can plant and learn how to grow their own fresh herbs & vegetables year-round. This will introduce my students to a hands on way of learning how their food is produced. This will encourage my students to eat healthier while promoting learning and social development.

My students love to garden and watch their plants grow.
