My Project

I teach students in Pre-K through grade 2 in a Title I-funded, New York City public school in Bronx, NY. My students love creating in art class. Having Velcro will help my students display what they've learned about the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.

Art class is where the students are able to express themselves in a fun and playful way.

Whenever they are introduced to new art materials, the children get so excited. They can't wait to explore and try new things, so we would love to display all of their beautiful projects. Giving the students choices and allowing them to use materials they don't have at home is what they look forward to most. They really enjoy themselves in art class.
