This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting doll house furniture and doll house people to complete our doll house. What is a doll house without furniture to manipulate, move around, put right in place, talk about with your classmate, and think about? And what is a dollhouse without miniature people? My new kindergarteners are going to enjoy engaging in pretend play with these doll house figurines. They will get so much out of this, including build their social emotional and language skills, as well as gain an overall sense of calm because it is fun! Our students are incredibly special, as they are both curious about the world, but also truly enjoy working together. The foundation of our students' understanding is that collaboration involves helping each other up. These doll house pieces would be a great escape for so many to truly help each child.
