My Project

Imagine the excitement of a student reaching a goal and getting to choose a brand-new book that is theirs to keep! We are bringing a Book Vending Machine to our school, and we need your help filling it with books that will inspire our students to read, grow, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Our Book Vending Machine will serve students in TK–8th grade, I am focusing on building a collection of engaging, high-interest books for our 3rd–6th grade students since these are the grades that I work directly with.

Students will earn books as rewards for accomplishing goals, demonstrating growth, and showing perseverance.

This project is about more than just books—it is about helping students see themselves as readers and giving them something meaningful to be proud of. When a student earns a book from the vending machine, they won't just be borrowing it—they will take it home and keep it. They will have the opportunity to build their own personal library and share their love of reading with their families.

Your support will help us stock the vending machine with a variety of exciting books featuring different interests, reading levels, genres, cultures, characters, and experiences. We want every student to find a book that makes them think, laugh, wonder, or see themselves in a new way.

Together, we can turn accomplishments into lifelong reading memories—one book at a time!
