Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My student’s are the hardest working bunch of first graders! They strive to work hard and improve their reading. Reading and writing nonfiction are crucial standards that students must master. Help out these wonderful diverse kids by providing nonfiction books at their reading level.

These nonfiction books will expose students to hundreds of topics and give students choice in what they want to read and discover!

It is so important students are given opportunities to read nonfiction books at their specific level. A classroom library will facilitate their learning. An iPad for easy projection to the screen is ideal.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
