My students need a Smart Response System and Smart Response clickers to help make assessment immediate and interactive.

My Students

Help make student assessment immediate and interactive! Children love to play games and interact with technology. The Smart Response clickers will enable them to do both and have fun while I assess their learning using this interactive technology.

My students attend a high poverty school in an urban area of Washington state.

They enjoy using the limited technology we have in our classroom and often learn better when there is a technology component included in a lesson. My students enjoy the interactive nature of our Smartboard and these clickers will take it to the next level.

My Project

I'd like to expand the available technology in our classroom and achieve greater student progress using the Smart Response clickers as a tool. Students will think they are playing a game, but I will be using the clickers to assess their learning and guide instruction. The Smart Response system will provide me with immediate feedback and enable me to hone my lesson plans to best meet my students' needs.

This project is important because it will provide my students with increased exposure to technology.

It will allow me to immediately assess the success of a lesson and determine which students may need additional instruction. The Smart Response system will allow me to expand my available assessment tools.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
