Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use these headphones in my 6th-grade English Language Arts classes. Specifically, when the students need to work independently on an online program such as i-Ready or EdPuzzle, the headphones will enable each student to work on their own and hear the lessons and instructions without interference from outside noises.

Educational online resources such as PBS videos, and programs such as EdPuzzle and i-Ready only work at their fullest potential when students can concentrate on their screen and hear the audio.

The students will welcome having a dedicated set of headphones to use when needed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
