This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students study, enjoy working hard, and are always ready for a challenge.

The goal is to provide healthy and social activities for kids who might otherwise be inactive or isolated and to help develop community during lunch and break.

Student ambassadors will lead sports games (football, basketball, soccer) to foster leadership and responsibility amongst the student body. Simultaneously, community service and community building will help create a positive school environment.

Empathy, community, and love are learned through intentional acts of togetherness. Students can and will help their fellow students if the opportunity presents itself.
