Help Replace Our Dying Projector!

My students need a new high quality projector to replace our dying projector, and a screen so we can see our assignments, videos, and readings clearly.

My Students

My students are 8th and 9th grade Spanish and ESL students. Most students live near the school in the Chinatown and South End neighborhoods in Boston, and have been attending school together since the elementary years. My students put a tremendous amount of effort into their school work and are fun, caring, and a pleasure to teach.

Our school is a Title 1 Boston Public School, meaning that over 90% of our students receive free or reduced breakfast, lunch, and public transportation.

My Project

Our classroom projector is dying and often does not work. The coloring is off, the picture is blurry, and it frequently overheats. The screen we currently use is old and stained, and we desperately need a replacement! We use our projector for showing videos, reviewing assignment instructions, and for whole-class instruction.

My students benefit from watching videos in our Spanish and ESL classes, and need to be able to see their assignments!

A new screen and projector would not only help my students see their work clearly, but seeing clean, new materials would also help them to develop a sense of pride in our class and their school.
