Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting some extra snacks to keep at school for our students who often too hungry and tired to do the work that is expected of them.

By having snacks available, I will be able to offer a student with their head down an opportunity to take a break, get some nutrients, and re-engage with the learning.

I have found that having snacks for the students goes a long way but with so many students, it's hard to keep up with the demand of their needs, especially at this age where they are constantly growing.

The granola bars requested are on the healthier side but are also enjoyable for the kids. A total win-win.
