Help me give my students materials to revitalize our hydroponics program by replacing broken equipment and purchasing supplies, expanding hands-on opportunities for students to explore agriculture, STEM, and careers.

My Project

My students love our hydroponics program because it gives them the opportunity to learn by doing. They enjoy planting, watching their crops grow, solving problems, and seeing the results of their hard work. I love watching their excitement grow as they discover connections between science, technology, agriculture, and everyday life. The program also introduces students to career possibilities in agriculture, environmental science, engineering, horticulture, and agricultural technology. Most importantly, hydroponics helps students develop teamwork, responsibility, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while showing them that learning can be exciting and meaningful.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
