My Students

The excitement of visual story telling brings out creativity in students and motivates them to excel in communicating their ideas.

These sixth, seventh and eighth graders are middle students located in central Oahu, Hawaii.

Our school has a wide socioeconomic range with many on free or reduced lunch. This new equipment will be made available to all four sections of the Advanced Media Design elective classes and the after school Video Production team. These students are full of energy and eager to create new videos.

My Project

These students are in the advanced media course which is the second year class. They learn digital photography, sound design and video production. These students will put the new boom microphone to use in their video productions and digital story telling.

Being able to communicate a message clearly and effectively is important now and as the students continue to further education and into the workforce.

These practical, hands-on skills not only keep students engaged in their learning, but foster team work and collaboration.
