Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are half way through the school year and my classroom is in desperate need of art supplies! Many of my students were unable to bring in art supplies in the beginning of the school year, so myself and a paraprofessional donated numerous items such as markers, crayons and construction paper. However, at this point, they are mostly used up!

My students LOVE to draw!

They love opportunities to express their artistic sides! But they need new markers, crayons, glue and paper to do so! Also, being that February is Black History Month, I would like to purchase some art themed activities from Teachers Pay Teachers that my students may be able to use to create their own masterpieces, while learning about important Black and African American people who have changed the world!
