Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 24 culturally diverse students that I greatly adore.

My students attend a Title 1 School where most receive free and reduced lunch, they come from various backgrounds, and although different, they all have the same desire- to be successful in life and complete their education. My students are comprised of duo working households, single parent homes, economically disadvantaged, and live in a rural community where poverty is all too common and as a result disparities are also too common. But even with these setbacks, my students come to school with a smile on their face, ready to learn, and love working on special projects, especially multicultural diversity projects. Help us bring our end of the year multicultural diversity project to life with a printer to print our research.

My Project

My students need to have the opportunity to compete with opulent areas. With a new laser printer my students will be able to research and print their multicultural and diversity project that I am planning on them doing in the classroom. We will be able to learn about the cultures that exist, why they exist, important individuals that influenced our country, and why we should treat all the same regardless of race. We will be able to print pictures for our research project and we will be able to create multicultural collages in color that we can share with our classroom and present in class. In addition, we will be creating some brilliant essays that we will be printing and sharing. With a color printer my student pictures and projects will be brought to life and we will be able to learn the many differences in cultures, but also the many similarities in dreams that we all share in common. Allow us the opportunity to create our beautiful classroom mosaic with a color printer.

As you can see, we have to function with numerous setbacks and this project would impact the lives of young learners and encourage them to learn about multicultural diversity and its significance.

Allow my students to have a learning experience that will encourage them to think outside the box, and engage them with colorful visual mosaics! Help me teach my students to embrace their cultural heritage please and learn to respect others regardless of race or culture.
