My Project

Kids need things. Anyone who has spent time with kids knows this. The take what you need cart in my room serves many purposes. It removes barriers of hunger and hygiene. It builds positive, caring and trusting relationships between me and my students.

The Take What You Need Cart reminds my students that I see them as amazing young people first before any test score or grade.

However, keeping it stocked takes money and supplies. This is a hard task for any secondary teacher with over a hundred students. Your donation will help me subsidize my cart for the next semester and help me maintain my classroom environment for my kids! We need snacks, combs, hair ties, feminine pads and much more for our cart.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
