My Students

I teach fourth grade at a public school in Riverton, Utah. We like to be up and moving around when possible, but we also have times when we have to buckle down and really concentrate.

My students are energetic and excited about learning.

They come from various backgrounds and their families are very supportive of their education. We learn so much and have so much fun in fourth grade!

My Project

My students love to read and I need to add to my collection so that more of the most popular books are included. Math manipulatives will give my students who struggle with place value an extra tool to enhance their understanding. Having games to play, especially during an indoor recess, is crucial so that they won't ask if they can play computer games. Playing physically tangible games together builds community. I have some fun art projects that I like to do each year but I'm always short on supplies so the card stock and chalk pastels will help. My students will create beautiful works of art and will enjoy more variety of books and materials. With all of the challenging things going on in the world, I want my class to be a place where kids can create, learn, and feel connected.
