My Project

Sensory tools such as fidgets, clay, chew necklaces, air‑dry clay, and squishies are a vital part of supporting a student with ASD and ADHD.

Fidgets and Chewlery ( chew necklaces) can provide essential tactile sensory input that occupies the restless part of the brain.

This allows students to focus more effectively, improving their concentration for both self‑regulation and academic tasks.

Learning how to self‑regulate is a foundational skill. These tools help students reduce anxiety, manage stress, and channel excess energy in a healthy way. Over time, this leads to improved classroom behavior and increases the amount of time they can stay engaged in learning.

Quiet, non‑disruptive fine‑motor activities also support better information processing and help strengthen working memory. These benefits directly contribute to a more successful and productive learning experience.
